The answerphone

Use the answerphone to record incoming messages during your absence
or to leave a message for a caller.
The telephone can receive up to 99 messages with a total length of 15
minutes.
The answerphone will automatically add the date and time to every
message. You must therefore set the date and time in order to use the
answerphone properly. If you do not set the date and time, " – – " will
appear on the display of the base station. The date and time for the
messages will all be incorrect in this case. Set the date and time at the
handset.

Switching on/off

At the base station
Press the on/off key

on or off.

When the answerphone is switched off, the display will show: "– –",
possibly alternating with the number of new messages.

When the answerphone is switched on, the display will show the
number of stored messages; in the factory settings:
on the base station, to switch the answerphone
