10 Conversion of the Valve System
Danger of explosion caused by defective valve system in an explosive atmosphere!
Malfunctions may occur after the configuration or conversion of the valve system.
After configuring or converting a system, always perform a function test in a non-explosive
atmosphere before recommissioning.
This chapter describes the structure of the complete valve system, the rules for converting the valve
system, the documentation of the conversion, as well as the re-configuration of the valve system.
The assembly of the components and the complete unit is described in the respective assembly
instructions. All necessary assembly instructions are included as printed documentation on
delivery and can also be found on the CD R412018133.

10.1 Valve system

The IO-Link interface valve system can be expanded by up to a permissible maximum
of 24 solenoid coils.
