Installing the Secure Router 2330 internal SCIM module

Use the procedure in this section to install an internal SCIM module.
Prerequisites
• Ensure you have a SCIM module ready to install before opening the chassis top cover.
• Ensure you have a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
• Ensure the Secure Router 2330 is powered off. You cannot hot swap internal
components.
Procedure steps
1. Remove the Secure Router 2330 top cover. See Removing the Secure Router 2330
2. Locate the internal SCIM module connector slot.
3. Holding the SCIM module by its edges, align the connector with the slot on the Main
