Check intactness, and replace damaged items:
breathing hose, harness/headband and air channel.

visor, visor carriage and forehead seal.
o
welding Þ lter and fenestra.
o
helmet to be checked daily.
o
Note! Wrong headband or changes in the helmet may degrade the protective performance.
Note! Do not paint the helmet, as this will cover the natural signs of wearing and the helmet might be used
too long.
The helmet must be replaced if
there are visible signs of cracks or fractures in the shell.
o
the helmet has undergone an accident or been exposed to severe strain, even if there are no visible
o
signs.
the helmet has been exposed to direct sunlight for one year.
o
the helmet is Þ ve years old.
o
The welding shield must be replaced if
there are damages in the fenestra (eventual light leak).
o
in daily use after 12 months at the latest, expecially if exposed to molten metal splashes and hot objects.
o
in occfasional use after 18 months at the latest.
o
The visor/welding Þ lter must be replaced if
there are scratches or damages.
o
in daily use after 6 months at the latest.
o
in occfasional use after 12 months at the latest.
o
REPLACING THE COMPONENTS
A Torx20 screwdriver is required (code 012699).
o
Only use original spare parts, use of any other parts will invalidate the approval and warranty, and may
o
reduce protection.
Breathing hose
•
Open the locking latch.
•
Remove the hose.
•
Put a new hose in the socket and secure the latch.
Face shield
•
Loosen the screws from both sides and remove the face shield from the helmet's wheel carriages.
•
Prior to mounting the face shield, check that the wiper is in its groove.
•
Place the face shield in the carriage by aligning the triangle hole in the respective pin.
Secure with screws (2 pcs).
Face seal
!
Tear off the seal from the visor frame.
!
Fix a new seal by threading its pins through the holes, properly to the inner side of the visor frame (15
pcs).
Visor
Remove the face shield from the helmet's
!
wheel carriages.
!
Remove the face seal if needed.
!
Remove the visor from its groove by
pressing with thumbs (start from one side).
!
Install a new visor:

Pass one of the side edges in the groove of the frame.
- - -
Press the visor top and the other side edge in the groove.
- - -
Finally, bend/strech bottom frame while pressing the visor bottom in the groove.
- - -
Check that each tooth of the visor frame is on the correct side of the visor (=visor sits tight in
place).
