5. Operating instructions

The TMJG 100D has two operating keys. The left key (SELECT) serves to select the
functions and the pressure units. The right key (ENTER) activates the selected function or
pressure unit.

5.1 Activation

Press the SELECT or ENTER key to activate the pressure gauge. The display briefly shows
the software version (year/week) and the full-scale pressure range (displayed as 1000.0
bar), followed by the actual pressure on the top display and the most recent maximum
pressure on the bottom display.

5.2 Functions

To select a function, press the SELECT button. Press the ENTER button to confirm the
selection. The function appears in the display for five seconds. After five seconds, the
pressure gauge returns to display of the actual pressure and the maximum pressure.
RESET: Press SELECT one time and then press ENTER to reset the maximum pressure.
OFF: Press SELECT two times and then press ENTER to deactivate the pressure gauge.
MANO: Press SELECT three times and then press ENTER to select the display units. The
display shows MPa. Press ENTER to confirm this selection. To change the display units to
PSI, press SELECT. Press ENTER to confirm this selection.
If the maximum pressure of 100 MPa (14,500 psi) is exceeded, OVL (overflow) appears in
the display. Reduce the pressure to the application to cancel this warning.
The display is deactivated after 30 minutes to conserve battery life. Press SELECT or
ENTER to reactivate the display.
