Switching over between Metres/Feet (m – ft)
Proceed as follows to switch the display between
m and ft:
1. Turn off the flash unit with the main switch (4).
2. Press the ZOOM button (5) and keep it pressed.
3. Turn on the flash unit with the main switch.
4. Release the ZOOM button.
The display switches from m to ft or ft to m.
The selected display format is retained after
the flash unit is switched off and the batteries /
rechargeable batteries are changed.

Resetting the flash unit settings

(to factory settings)
1. Turn on the flash unit with the main switch (4).
2. Keep the MODE button (3) pressed for about 5 s.
The following settings are made:
- The reflector status is set to 35 mm illumina-
tion without diffuser.
- The distance display is set to metres m.
- The flash operation mode is activated

Attaching / removing the flash unit

Switch off the flash unit and the camera before
attaching / removing the flash unit (see next
Section).
Attachment
Press the release button (7) at the back of the
flash unit and at the same time slide the flash
unit with flash unit base (8) up to the stopper
in the flash shoe of the camera.
Removal
Press the release button (7) at the back of the
flash unit and at the same time slide the flash
unit off the camera.

Switching the flash unit on and off

To turn the flash unit on, slide the main switch
(4) to the upper position (ON); to turn it off,
slide down.
Before the flash functions can be operated,
both the camera and the flash unit must be
TTL
.
switched on. In addition, a data exchange
must have taken place between the camera
and the flash unit.
