LAWS, REGULATIONS AND TECHNICAL DIRECTIVES

While installing the equipment, please observe the following regulations:
- local building regulations and fire-prevention rules
- accident-prevention rules
- rules on the 'installation of electrical plants'
- regulations of the local electricity board
- hygienic regulations
2.2

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

- The electrical hookup must only be made by qualified authorized personnel according to IEC regulations.
First, examine the information given in the table of technical characteristcs in this instruction booklet pag. 4, on the serial
plate, and in the wiring diagram.
The fixed type hookup is to be used.
The position of the terminal strip for each model, accessed by removing the right side panel of the unit, is shown in this
booklet and on the base of the oven itself.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A general mains cutoff device must be provided upstream from each oven, with a contact opening of
at least 3 mm:
for example:
- a manual switch of suitable capacity, equipped with fuses.
- an automatic switch with the corresponding overload relays.
2.2.1

EARTHING

CAUTION: NEVER CUT THE EARTH CONDUCTOR (yellow-green).
This equipment must be earthed.
For this purpose, connect the terminals marked by the earth symbol (
that complies with the regulations in force.
THE MANUFACTURER CANNOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF THESE SAFETY REGULATIONS ARE NOT
OBSERVED.
SPECIFIC NOTES
The electrical safety of this equipment is only ensured when it is correctly connected to a good earth system in compliance
with the regulations on electrical safety in force.
It is essential that you verify this basic safety requirement. If you have any doubts, ask for a thorough check of the system to
be made by professionally qualified personnel.
The manufacturer cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused by the lack of earth for the equipment
2.2.2

SUPPLY CABLE

The oven is not provided with a power supply cable.
The flexilbe cable for hooking up to the electrical line must have the minimum characteristcs of the H07RN-F type with
rubber insulation.
The cable must be run through a cable clamp and well-secured.
In addition, the supply voltage when the equipment is in operation must never be different from the nominal voltage +/- 10%.
N.B.: Once the hookup is made, make sure that the fan turns in the direction shown by the arrow on the vent (clockwise).
2.2.3

EQUIPOTENTIAL SYSTEM

The equipment must be included in an equipotential system whose efficiency must be verified according to the regulations
