Troubleshooting
Problem
The reading is
extremely high (or low).
Cuff is not inflated.
The unit operates normally and measurements
appear to be taken, but...
• Measurements taken by a doctor are higher (or
lower).
• Measurement results are different each time.
No display appears
when O/I button is
pressed.
Readings are not stored
in the memory.
Cause
Is your arm placed
through the arm cuff
correctly?
Talking during the
measurement.
Are rolled up sleeves
squeezing the arm?
Is the cuff lining in the
arm cuff damaged?
Is air leaking from the
arm cuff?
The AC adapter was
disconnected from the
unit.
The AC adapter was
disconnected from the
power supply.
G (guest) was selected,
or no user ID was
selected.
4. Handling Errors and Problems
Remedy
Refer to Chapter 3.2.
Keep quiet during
measurement.
Carefully read and repeat
