Fuse replacement
Maintenance
The instrument must be serviced by the manufacturer's service department at the prescribed
intervals. Do not attempt to service this product yourself, except as noted in the user manual
After maintenance tasks or service, the following points have to be checked:
The housing of the instrument has to be screwed firmly to the wall (or rack in case of
•
panel instruments).
The housing has to be in good conditions without scratch and no damage that can be
•
seen.
The bottom MP5 connector for RS-232 has to be covered with the supplier protection
•
or to be connected.
When using chemicals or solvents, comply with the instructions of the producer and the general
safety rules.
Important notes:
Never use cleaning such as turpentine, acetone or similar products to clean the
•
instrument including the display and accessories.
Only clean the housing and accessories using a soft, damp cloth. Mild soap solution
•
may also be used. Dry the cleaned parts carefully with a soft cotton cloth.
Do not replace any component unless power has been switched off or the area is known to be
non-hazardous.
MultiMeter MM 44 has a warning light that indicates the fuse is blown. When lit, it will have
to replace the fuse:
T100L 250V, Fuse for 220V and 110V, reference C005140060

T500L 250V, Fuse for para 24 V, reference C005140061
