Battery
Your meter comes with one 3.7V Li-Ion rechargeable battery.
WARNING:
FORA GTel can use with one Li-ion rechargeable battery ONLY (battery model no.
ICP553136ARM).
Wrong types of batteries may cause explosion.
Do not use other type of batteries, mix old and new or different brands of
batteries. Use only new batteries of the specified size and type.
Replacing the batteries does not affect the test results stored in the memory.
As with all small batteries, these batteries should be kept away from children. If
swallowed, promptly seek medical assistance.
Batteries might leak chemicals if unused for a long time. Remove the batteries
if you are not going to use the device for an extended period (i.e., 3 months or
more).
Properly dispose of the batteries according to your local environmental
regulations.
Recharging the battery
The power adapter can be used as the battery charger when you
need to recharge Li-ion battery. To recharge the 3.7V Li-ion battery,
connect AC adapter to the meter and a power source.
Low Battery Signal
The meter will display the message below to alert you
when the meter power is getting low.
The "
" appears with "Low battery":
The power is not enough to do a test. Please recharge
the battery immediately.
