MAINTENANCE

Battery

Your meter comes with one 3.7V Li-Ion rechargeable battery.
WARNING:
 FORA GTel can use with one Li-ion rechargeable battery ONLY (battery model no.
ICP553136ARM).
 Wrong types of batteries may cause explosion.
 Do not use other type of batteries, mix old and new or different brands of
batteries. Use only new batteries of the specified size and type.
 Replacing the batteries does not affect the test results stored in the memory.
 As with all small batteries, these batteries should be kept away from children. If
swallowed, promptly seek medical assistance.
 Batteries might leak chemicals if unused for a long time. Remove the batteries
if you are not going to use the device for an extended period (i.e., 3 months or
more).
 Properly dispose of the batteries according to your local environmental
regulations.

Recharging the battery

The power adapter can be used as the battery charger when you
need to recharge Li-ion battery. To recharge the 3.7V Li-ion battery,
connect AC adapter to the meter and a power source.
Low Battery Signal
The meter will display the message below to alert you
when the meter power is getting low.
The "
" appears with "Low battery":
The power is not enough to do a test. Please recharge
the battery immediately.
