1. Recommended tools / Outillage préconisé
In addition to the usual tools for working on optical
networks, the following tools are recommended:
Cutter with retractable blade.
Flat-tip screwdriver (5mm recommended) and Torx
20 screwdriver.
Nosed and universal pliers.
Compressed air device (for tightness tests at
pressure of 400 mbars).
Leakage spray.
2. Application
The housing is supplied to:
Receive bare fibres, micro modules or loose tubes
in the splice protection trays.
Be installed horizontally or vertically.
3. Closure mounting / Fixation du boitier
Depending on the model ordered, the closure has either integrated
mounting ears on the base (fig.2) or metal inserts to fix an external
mounting bracket (accessory part (fig.2a)).
Selon le model commandé, les supports de montage sont intégrés au
corps du boitier (fig.2)
ou à monter sous le corps du boitier via les inserts (fig.2a).
Wall mounting
Use the wall mount kit N711599A (fig.2a).
Either fix the closure to the wall with 4 screws (not provided)
through the mounting ears (fig.2), or mount
brackets (fig.2b) to the closure using the 4
screws (TF M8x16) and fix the closure with 4
screws (not provided).

Utiliser le kit support N711599A (fig.2a)
Fixer le boitier avec 4 vis (non fournis) (fig.2) ou monter
les deux supports avec 4 vis (TF M8x16) (fig.2a) et fixer le boitier au travers des supports avec 4 vis (non fournis).
Pole mounting
Use the pole mount kit N711892A (fig.3).
Fix the mounting brackets to the closure using the 4 screws (TF M8x16) (fig.4).
Install the closure on the pole with metal band (standard 20mm) (fig.5).
Fix the 'drop prevention cord' (fig.3) to mounting bracket and cover.

Montage sur poteau
Utiliser le kit support N711892A (fig.3).
Fixer le support sous le boitier en utilisant les 4 vis (TF M8x16) (fig.4).
Installer le boitier sur le poteau avec un feuillard métallique (standard 20mm) (fig.5)
Installer la cordelette antichute entre le corps et le capot du boitier.

Couteau à lame rétractable.
Tournevis plat (5mm conseillé) et

Pinces à becs et pince universelle.
Dispositif de mise en pression réglable à 400 mbar de
pression.
Produit de détection de fuite.
Le boîtier est livré pour:
Recevoir des fibres nues ou micromodules dans les
cassettes de protections d'épissures.
Etre installé horizontalement ou verticalement.
