6. Removing of blind plugs / Démontage des bouchons
6.1 Use of single ECAM S12 in the dual entry port. /
Utilisation d'ECAM S12 dans le bouchon de l'entrée double
The dual entry port can also be used for single cables with two single ECAM S12.
Le bouchon de l'entrée double peut accepter 1 ou 2 câbles avec ECAM S12.
Remove the protective cap with pliers (fig.14).

Retirer le bouchon de protection avec une pince (Fig.14).
Break out the cable entry by knocking briefly on the screwdriver (fig.15).
Désoperculer avec un tournevis en donnant un coup sec (Fig.15).
The entry port must be perfectly clean before inserting the ECAM.
Le conduit doit être parfaitement propre avant la mise en place de l'ECAM.

6.2 Installation of the uncut cable (mid span) entry ECAM D18 / Installation d'un câble passage par l' ECAM D18
Tilt the splicing trays in vertical position.
Relever les cassettes en position vertical.

Remove the sealing plug by pushing on its 2 latches, by using the screwdriver,
while maintaining a pushing pressure with the thumb (Fig.16).

Disengage the first latch (1), push (2) and disengage the other latch
(3) to extract the plug.

Retirez le bouchon d'étanchéité en poussant sur ses 2 verrous, en utilisant
un tournevis, tout en maintenant une pression avec le pouce (Fig.16).

Dégager le première verrou (1), maintenir une pression (2) et
dégagez l'autre verrou (3) pour extraire le bouchon.
Then push out sealing plug with thumb (fig.17).
Extraire le bouchon, entée double (fig.17).
The entry port must be perfectly clean before inserting the ECAM.

6.3 Use of ECAM S7 or S9,5 in the single entry port / Utilisation de l' ECAM S7 ou S9,5 dans les ports simples
Grasp blind plug with universal pliers or similar and pull (fig.18a-18b).
Pincer le bouchon avec une pince universelle ou similaire et tirer (fig.18a-18b).
The entry port must be perfectly clean before inserting the ECAM.
Le conduit doit être parfaitement propre avant la mise en place de l'ECAM.

It is recommended to start with the bottom cable entry ports.
