• Do not pull up the Genu sleeve with sharp objects or fingernails (Fig. 11) as these may damage the material.
• Do not wash the Genu sleeve in a washing machine (Fig. 12) as this could impair the function of the
suspension sleeve.
• Please make sure you keep the suspension sleeve with the coating on the outside after cleaning to prevent the
inner coating sticking together.
• Please always keep the Genu sleeve pulled down over the foam wedge supplied when not in use and make sure
it is not stored at over 40°C, otherwise the suspension sleeve could be damaged.
All the instructions and recommendations must be adapted to the needs of the individual user.
MAINTENANCE OF THE PROSTHESIS
Please note that your entire prosthesis must receive maintenance at least every six months or even sooner,
depending on the frequency and duration of use of the prosthesis. Please clarify these maintenance intervals with
your orthopaedic technician

DURATION OF USE
The maximum useful life of the Genu sleeve is three months.
