GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING Whenever working on power head, disconnect power first!
Problem
Door does not fully
close or open.
Door presses into
the end-of-travel
positions.
After closing, door
opens slightly
producing a gap.
Door does not
respond to signal
from remote control,
but does respond to
push button or wall
control.
Door does not
respond to signal
from remote control
or any other control
device.
Insufficient range of
remote control.
DIAGNOSTIC DISPLAY During operation, the display provides diagnostic information on possible faults.

Possible Cause
Door mechanics have changed.
End-of-travel positions incorrectly set.
Optimum setting of end-of-travel
positions has not been achieved.
Door blocks just before closed
position.
Weak battery in remote control.
Antenna not plugged in or correctly
aligned.
Remote control not programmed.
See diagnostic display.

On-site screening of receiving signal.
Condition
Operator starts up and "0" goes out
Safe-T-Beam photo cell is interrupted.
Vacation lock switch in locked position.
Motor has stopped.
Permanent signal from wall console.
An error has occurred in setting up
or down limit.
"0" displayed during the next opening
and closing cycle and then goes out.
"0" continues to be displayed.
What To Do
Have the door professionally checked.
Reset end-of-travel positions (Setting Steps 1 and 2).
Reset end-of-travel positions (Setting Steps 1 and 2).
Remove obstruction or reset CLOSE end-of-travel position
(Setting Step 2).
Replace battery.
Plug in or align antenna.
Program remote.
See diagnostic display.
Replace battery.
Plug in or align antenna.
Connect external antenna (accessory).
What To Do
Normal operation.
See self-diagnostic Safe-T-Beam System Troubleshooting
Chart (page 15).
Move switch to unlocked position.
Call Customer Service at 1-800-784-5028.
Check Wall Console for stuck button.
Travel path too long.
Repeat setting procedure (Setting Steps 1 and 2).
Opener is confirming normal operation after an error
is corrected. No action required.
