4.7.2) Memorisation Mode II
Table 11: To memorise a transmitter in mode II
1.
Switch off TEN and turn it one again after at least 3 seconds (for example by removing F2)
2.
Within 10 s of power-up, press the RADIO key on the control unit the same number of times as the
command number required, as specified in table 9 (1=Step-Step; 2=Partial open; 3=Open; 4=Close)
3.
Ensure that the radio led on the control unit emits the same number of flashes as the required
command (repeated after a brief pause)
4.
Within 10 seconds press the required key of the transmitter to be memorised for at least 3 seconds.
5.
If the memorisation procedure is successful, the receiver led emits 3 flashes.
If there are other transmitters to be memorised, repeat point 3 within a further 10 seconds.
The memorisation phase terminates if no new transmitters to be memorised are received within 10 seconds.

4.7.3) Memorisation in the "vicinity of the receiver"

A new transmitter can be memorised without acting directly on the
receiver keypad; this requires a previously memorised and operative
remote control. The new transmitter will be memorised with the
same characteristics as the previously memorised version; therefore
if the first transmitter is memorised in Mode I, the new model will be
memorised in Mode I and any key of the transmitter can be pressed.
On the other hand, if the transmitter already operative is memorised
in Mode II, the new model will be memorised in the same mode, and
in this case it is important to press the required command key on the
first transmitter and the key to associate with this command on the
second transmitter.
Table 12: To memorise a transmitter in the vicinity of the receiver
1.
Position the two transmitters in the vicinity of the receiver and proceed as follows:
2.
Press the key on the new radio transmitter for at least 5 s and then release
3.
Slowly press the key of a previously memorised transmitter three times.
4.
Slowly press the key of the new transmitter once.
The new transmitter will now be recognised by the receiver which will acquire all the characteristics of the previously memorised transmitter.
If there are other transmitters to be memorised, repeat the same procedure for all new transmitters.

4.7.4) Deleting radio transmitters

Table 13: To delete all transmitters
1.
Switch off TEN and turn it one again after at least 3 seconds (for example by removing F2)
2.
Within 10 seconds of power-up, press and hold the key RADIO on the control unit
3.
Wait for the radio led to illuminate, then wait for it to turn off, followed by the emission of 3 flashes.
4.
Briefly press the RADIO key exactly on the third flash.
5.
If the procedure is successful, after a short interval the led emits 5 flashes
5) Tests and start-up
This is the most important phase of automation set-up to ensure
maximum safety. Testing can also be performed as a periodic check
of automation devices.
14
!
Memorisation "in the vicinity of the receiver" is possi-
ble on all receivers located within the operating range of
the previously memorised transmitter, and therefore only
the device required for the operation should remain pow-
ered.
!
Testing of the entire system must be performed by
skilled and qualified personnel, who are responsible for
the tests required, according to the risk present, and for
ensuring observance of all legal provisions, standards and
regulations, and in particular all requirements of the stan-
dard EN 12445, which establishes the test methods for
checking automations for doors and gates.
