4.7) Memorising radio transmitters
Each radio transmitter is recognised by the radio receiver by means of a unique code, different from all other transmitters. Therefore a mem-
orisation phase is required to enable the radio receiver to recognise individual transmitters. The transmitters can be memorised in 2 ways:

Key T2
"Partial open" command
Key T3
"Open" command
Key T4
"Close" command
NOTE: Single channel transmitters only have key T1, while 2-chan-
nel transmitters have keys T1 and T2.
Mode I: in this mode, the functions of the transmitter keys are fixed,
with each key corresponding to a specific command as specified in
Table 8, and a single phase is performed for each transmitter in
which all keys are memorised. During this phase it is not important
which key is pressed and only one location is occupied in the mem-
ory.
In Mode I, the transmitter can normally command only one automa-
tion; see example in Figure 27.

!
As the memorisation procedures have a time limit of 10 s, read the instructions in the paragraphs below before start-
ing the procedure.
!
Memorisation and deletion of transmitters must be performed within the first 10 seconds after powering up the unit.
In this time interval, the control unit key [▲/OPEN/RADIO] is used for radio memorisation and deletion functions. 10 sec-
onds after the last flash of led L1 or after the last key is pressed, the key is then enabled for command functions (OPEN)
and programming [▲]. The courtesy light flashes once to indicate the end of the interval in which radio memorisation
functions are enabled.
4.7.1) Memorisation Mode I
Table 10: To memorise a transmitter in Mode I
1.
Switch off TEN and turn it one again after at least 3 seconds (for example by removing F2)(Figure 29)
2.
Within 10 seconds of power-up, press and hold the key RADIO on the control unit (for at least 4s)
(Figure 29)
3.
Release the key when the "radio" led L1 illuminates.
4.
Within 10 seconds press any key of the transmitter to be memorised for at least 3 seconds.
5.
If the memorisation procedure is successful, the radio led on the control unit emits 3 flashes.
If there are other transmitters to be memorised, repeat point 4 within a further 10 seconds.
The memorisation phase terminates if no codes are received within 10 seconds.

Mode II: In this mode, each single transmitter key can be associat-
ed with one of the 4 possible commands of the control unit as spec-
ified in Table 9; only one key is memorised in each phase, i.e. the key
pressed during the memorisation phase. One memory location is
occupied for each key memorised.
In Mode II a transmitter with several keys can control several
automations; see example in Figure 28.
