7.3.3) Electric lock
The factory setting of the "phototest" output is with the "Phototest"
function enabled.
Alternatively the output can be programmed on the TEN control unit
for control of an electric lock. On start-up of each opening manoeu-
vre, the output is activated for 2 seconds; in this way an electric lock
device can be connected. The output is not activated during the
closing manoeuvre and therefore the electric lock must have a pro-
vision for mechanical reactivation.
The output can control the electric lock directly, but only with loads
of 24Vac - 2W. The output must be interfaced with a relay, as shown
in Figure 38.

7.3.4) Phototest / Electric lock function programming

The output on terminal 6 is factory set with the Phototest function enabled, but this can be changed to electric lock and vice versa at any
time as specified in Table 20. This programming requires connection of the flashing light (or a lamp of 12V 21 Wmax.).

Keeping [Set] pressed, wait for start-up of the control unit (approx. 4s);

If the flashing light remains off, the input is programmed as Phototest; if the flashing light is on,
the output is programmed as an electric lock

Keeping [Set] pressed, press and release [▼] (repeatedly if required).
The flashing light will light up or turn off with the following meaning
ON = electric lock
OFF= phototest

Release [Set]
After activating the "Phototest" function and making the relative connections of the photocells, the distance acquisition procedure must be
performed as described in the paragraph "4.3 - Learning the door opening and closing positions".
7.3.5) Deactivating variable sensitivity of obstacle detection
TEN has an obstacle detection system based on the motor force control.
The factory setting of sensitivity is variable: Greater sensitivity in the case of low motor force, and less sensitivity where the motor force
increases. All with the aim of ensuring optimal detection precision.
There are some situations, such as strong gusts of wind, in which the system may detect a false obstacle. To avoid this problem in such sit-
uations, variable sensitivity can be disabled as shown in Table 21. 3 "fixed" levels of motor force remain (see Table 16).

The courtesy light will light up or turn off with the following meaning:
ON = fixed sensitivity (maximum)
OFF = variable sensitivity

If variable sensitivity is re-enabled after disabling the function, the distance acquisition procedure must be performed as described in the
paragraph "4.3 - Learning the door opening and closing positions"
