DNCM−...−POT
2
Function
When compressed air is applied to the ports
alternately, the piston moves backwards and
forwards in the tubing.
This movement therefore causes the piston
rod to move backwards and forwards. A
quasi−rigid connection between the connect
ing rod and the piston rod transmits this
movement to the potentiometer.
The electric interface of the potentiometer
supplies signals which indicate the position
ing path of the standard cylinder.
3
Application
The DNCM−...−POT has been designed for transporting mass loads.
The fitted measuring system is intended for monitoring the piston position (e.g. for
electronic closed−loop control in conjunction with the SPC11 Soft Stop or as an
individual measuring cylinder).
It is not intended for manufacturing processes which are sensitive to copper and
PTFE.
