When using the DNCM−...−POT as a measuring cylinder:
Open up the one−way flow control valves until the desired speed is reached.

If set correctly, the work mass should reach the end position without striking
hard against it.
Conclude the test run.

Please note
S Make sure that nobody can place his/
her hand in the positioning range of the
moveable mass (e.g. by means of a pro
tective screen).
If the installation is properly protected,
it should not be possible to touch the
DNCM−...−POT until the work mass has
come to a complete stand.
S Make sure that no objects lie in or pro
ject into the positioning range of the
moveable mass.

Care and maintenance

Do not modify the settings of screws and threaded pins if there is no request to

do this in these operating instructions.
In this way you can prevent damage to your cylinder at a later stage.
Inspecting the DNCM−...−POT:
Send the DNCM−...−POT complete to Festo.
