Mechanical installation

Note
Certain mechanical stresses on the contracting
membrane reduce the service life of the DMSP/
MAS.
• Ensure that the membrane always
– remains free from torsion
– is mounted remains unkinked (uncom­
pressed) even when unpressurized (no
folding)

Note on MAS-10
If the thread on the MXAC connecting adapter is
too long, this can damage the connecting thread
of the MAS-10-...-O (without force limiter).
• Make sure that the connecting thread
lengths of adapter and MAS fit each other
(è Tab. 2).
