PROBLEM
1. Pump does not start
2. Pump does not de-

PROBABLE CAUSE
A) No power supply
B) Automatic switch tripped or blown
fuses
C) Overload protection
D) Impeller jammed
A) There is air in the system and in
the pump body
A) Incorrect direction of rotation
B) Pump or pipes obstructed
C) Pump runs beyond rated capacity
A) Overload protection
The pump does not rotate freely
Liquid is too viscous
A) Worn ball bearings
B) The pump is cavitating
C) Foreign matter inside the pump
POSSIBLE REMEDIES
A) Supply electrical power
B) Re-set the switch and replace the
fuse
C) Re-set the protection

A) Bleed the system and prime the
pump (see point 6.2)

B) Disassemble and/or clean
C) Partially close the delivery gate
