Safety
- Never work below a machine raised up only by
a jack, always use a safe support base.
- Always check the terrain before starting your
work. Mark any dangerous place or obstacles
which may pose a hazard to operating the
machine.
- If you notice any abnormality in the operation:
vibrations, different noises etc., turn off the
machine immediately. Check and eliminate the
cause before turning on again.
- Never operate the machine in closed
surroundings and without ventilation, the gases
released from the tractor motor are highly
poisonous to your health.
- Do not use the driveshaft without the safety
shieldings.
- The tractor must always be maneuverable.
Place enough counterweights on the tractor, so
the front tires stay in firm contact with the
ground.
- Be especially careful when coupling and
uncoupling the machine from the tractor. Pay
attention and check if the coupling pins are well
latched. Use cotter pins so that the pins do not
come loose accidentally.
- Be especially careful when operating on sloped
terrain. If you notice any signs of being
imbalanced, reduce acceleration. Keep the
tractor always engaged when going down
slopes.
- When driving the tractor with the machine on
public roadways, obey the current valid
legislations regarding the maximum height of
the load, especially when going under
overpasses.
- Never leave the tractor when the machine is
turned on. Stop the motor, disconnect it from the
power take-off, engage the parking brake, and
remove the key from the ignition before getting
out.
- When towing the loaded machine, reduce the
speed in order to avoid accidents.
- When driving the tractor towing the machine,
make sure there is enough space for making the
movements.
- Always adjust the tractor speed to the local
conditions. Avoid making sudden maneuvers
especially in sloped locations. When towing a
load heavier than the tractor, never exceed 16
km/hour.
- When filling the machine, be careful not to
exceed the maximum recommended load.
- After using the machine, carefully wash it with
water. Never leave remainders of fertilizer inside
it, in order to avoid the risk of fires.
- Before using a fertilizer, carefully read the label
and follow the manufactures's instructions.
Store it in a appropriate location and make the
empty packaging useless.
- Improper fertilizer can cause serious damages
to people, animals, and the environment.
Carefully read the instructions on proper use on
the fertilizer label. Consult the manufacturer in
cases of doubts.
- Avoid product contact with the skin, eyes etc.,
wash the hands and arms very well with an
abundant quantity of water and soap after each
working shift, especially before eating.
