- Apply copper paste to the screw (13).
- Attach the clamp (14) with the screw (13) (3 Nm).
- Attach the clamp (3) and holder (4) on the header pipe.
- Position the screws (7), small washers (6) and large washers (5) on the
heat protector.

- Attach the heat protector (2) to the main silencer (1) with the screws (7)
(10 Nm).
- Position the clamp (3) and holder (4) and tighten the clamp.
- Attach the screw (7) to the holder (10 Nm).
When using the main silencer for the first time, the engine rpm must be kept
low for roughly the first 5 minutes to evenly heat the main silencer. This ensu-
res that the rock wool will be fully effective and will be able to keep the volume
down to the required level.
