Intended use
The tools are designed for sanding wood, plastic,
composite materials, paint / varnish, fi lling mate-
rial, metal and similar materials.
Material containing asbestos must not be processed
with these tools.
Thanks to its linear sanding movement, the LS 130
EQ is ideally suited for sanding battens, straight
profi les and in rebates.
The machines must not be damp nor operated in
a damp environment for electrical safety reasons.
The machines may only be used for dry sanding.
The user bears sole responsibility
for any damage or accidents resulting from incor-
rect use.

Switch (1.2) is an on/off switch. For continuous use
it can be engaged with the lateral locking button
(1.1). Pressing the switch again releases the lock.

See Fig. 2 for connection and disconnection of the
power cable.
If an extension cable is required, it must have a suf-
fi cient cross-section so as to prevent an excessive
drop in voltage or overheating. An excessive drop in
voltage reduces the output and can lead to failure of
the motor. The table shows the correct size to use,
depending on cord length and tool's ampere rat-
ing. Use only U.L. and CSA listed extension cables.
