Assembly of the ultrasonic
sensor and its "optional
accessory supplied on request"
support for automatic width
measurement
- insert the ultrasonic sensor cable inside the
slots in the metal pipe (see fig.9) fixing the
cable using the supplied hose clamp (A, fig.9)
- fix the ultrasonic sensor support to the guard
pipe using the supplied screws (Fig.9a);
- connect the sensor cable to the connector on
the side of the casing (A, fig.9b)

- Adjust the length of the ultrasonic sensor cable
near the connector (A, fig. 9b) with closed pro-
tection, to avoid deformation of the connector
itself during handling of the wheel guard.
- Then lock the cable through the supplied strap
(A, fig.9). Any excess cable in the object will be
inserted and locked (by means of the bases
already present) inside the sensor support.
To access inside the sensor holder, remove
the plastic cover by unscrewing the four fixing
screws (Fig. 9c).

- check and eventually act on the ultrasonic sensor
holder until the required distance between the
calibration template and the support (Fig. 9d)
is reached, proceeding as follows:
1. Fix the ultrasonic sensor calibration template
in the kit using the centering accessories on
the shaft of the oscillating unit;
