3. ASSEMBLY AND REMOVAL OF TRACK SPROCKET

WARNING!
Always wear protective gloves and glasses while working on the
sprockets.
3.1 - ASSEMBLY OF TRACK
SPROCKET
• Take the track sprocket suit-
able for assembly on
RECORD PISTA rear hub.
• Remove the lock ring (A) (Fig.
5) from the hub, unscrewing
it clockwise.
• Grease the hub threading.
• Fit the track sprocket (B) (Fig.
6) on the threaded body of
the hub, tightening it clock-
wise up to the end-stop,
using a Campagnolo ® UT-
CS060 chain wrench.
• Fit the lock ring (A) (Fig. 7) on
the threaded body of the hub,
tightening it counterclock-
wise up to the end-stop.

• Tighten the lock ring (A) (Fig.
8) using a hook wrench with
square pin (C) (Fig. 8).
NOTE
After every use, make sure
that the lock ring has not
become slack. Re-tighten as
required.
3.2 - REMOVAL OF TRACK SPROCKET
• Remove the lock ring (A)
(Fig. 9) from the hub,
unscrewing it clockwise.
• Using a Campagnolo
CS060
remove the track sprocket
(B) (Fig. 10) from the thread-
ed body of the hub, turning
it counterclockwise.
