1. Select SIGNAL (SIG) on FUNCTION TEST
SELECTOR SWITCH and OFF on the VOLTAGE
SELECTOR SWITCH.
2. Press the Regulator Tester "Press-to-test" switch to
the RIGHT.
a. Select 13.5 volts on VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH,
if the regulator begins operating normally at approx.
13.5 volts proceed to step 2b. If the voltage was below
10 or near 15 volts proceed to step 3.
b. Select 14.5 volts on VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH,
if the regulator begins operating normally at approx.
14.5 volts the regulator is:
"GEN-MON"(FR)-"GEN-COM"(SIG-"A"(SENSE)
c. If the regulator does NOT operate at the two different
voltage settings as above proceed to step 3.
3. Select STANDARD (STD) on FUNCTION TEST
SELECTOR SWITCH and OFF on the VOLTAGE
SELECTOR SWITCH.
4. Press the Regulator Tester "Press-to-test" switch to
