It is also possible to easily couple the high pressure plug
connections at an operating pressure of 300 bar (Fig. 2
and 3). The couplings are safety couplings. Coupling, fil-
ling and uncoupling, also during breathing, do not influ-
ence the functioning of the compressed air breathing
apparatus.

Operation
3.1
Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus
The handling of the compressed air breathing apparatus
is not changed if it is equipped with the Quick-Fill
System. The Instructions for Use of the compressed
air breathing apparatus concerning donning, conden-
sed check, maintenance and tests must be observed.
3.2
Connection to Cascade Cylinder
The filling connector Q (Part No. 4075-971) is screwed
into the cascade cylinder and the filling line is coupled
(Fig. 2 and 3).
Open cascade cylinder valve. The free end of the line is
closed by the coupling. It is opened only when the plug
is coupled and then opens the passage (Fig. 4).
With a full 50 l/300 bar cascade cylinder the filling pro-
cess of a 6 l compressed air cylinder takes approx. 30
seconds. A filling pressure of approx. 270 bar is rea-
ched.

After Filling
Immediately after use the couplings should be closed
with the protective caps (Fig. 5 and 6) to prevent dirt and
dust from entering and to assure that the couplings can
continue to be used easily and safely.
Attention!
Couplings are precision components!
To vent the filling line that is still under high pressure,
push the protective cap at the marked face until the air
is released.
