7 Digital I/O Connect

7.1 Structure and function

The Digital I/O Connect allows digital 24 V signals to be output and/or read via 4 channels. Whether the
respective channel is used as an output or input can be selected in iEasyLab under the "Settings" menu for
the Connect. The electrical connection is established via 4 mm safety sockets.
The 0 V socket of the Power Connect or the 0 V socket of the base serve as the reference potential for the
24 V signals.
Note
In the above example, sockets 0 and 1 are switched as digital outputs, and sockets 2 and 3 are switched
as digital inputs.

7.2 Commissioning the Connect

Proceed as follows:
1. Insert the Connect into the base.
2. The Connect is detected automatically by the base.
3. If the iEasyLab software has been started, the Connect will be detected and shown on the display.
