The predecessor model of the iPad Air, namely the iPad 4, can also be used on the base. To do this, simply
remove the adapter plate (7). It is secured to the base with two plastic clips and it can be easily removed by
using a screwdriver (blade width 2.5 mm).

2 Assembly instructions
The iPad Air 2 is thinner than the
previous model. Therefore higher
elastic buffers must be used on
the adapter. Please stick the
enclosed 8 x 2.5mm elastic
buffers (1) in addition to the
already glued buffers.
Proceed as follows:
1. Insert the blade of the
screwdriver into the slot by
approx. 3 mm. Apply gentle
pressure and lever out one
side first, followed by the
other side.
2. Now carefully disengage the
recess in the adapter plate
from the Lightning connector.
3. When the adapter plate has
been removed, four round
indentations will be visible in
the base. The four supplied
elastic buffers need to be
applied here.
