Set the Printable Area (Macintosh)

This functionality allows you to adjust the printable area settings for standard CD/DVD 120 mm media, which sets the outer
and inner diameter. The label prints on the disc without overlapping on the disc edges.
1.
Access printing
preferences. Refer to page 21 for instructions.

From the third dropdown list, select Printable Area Settings. The Printable Area Settings pane displays.

View or change the Printable Area preferences.
a.
To change the settings for standard printable area, enter the desired values in the Outer and Inner fields.
b.
To set the printable area for a disc with a stacking ring, do the following:
i.
Select Advanced. The advanced settings display.
ii.
Enter the desired values in the Outer Hub and Inner Hub fields.
Tip: Most discs like the one
shown above have the following
printable areas:
Outer Diameter 118 mm
Inner Diameter 24 mm

To continue setting your printing preferences, select other options from the third dropdown list.
OR
Select Print to print the label.

Adjust the Print Alignment and Color Density (Macintosh)

In the Everest Utility, you can adjust the print alignment and the color density. The Everest Utility also allows you to view
information such as the current firmware version, serial number and installed ribbon type, and to update your printer firmware.

Note: The settings in the Everest Utility can be modified only when the Everest printer is idle (no jobs currently printing).
1.
Access the Everest Utility.
Select: System Preferences > Print & Fax. The Print & Fax window opens.

In the printer list, double-click the model number of your Everest:
For Everest 600, select CDPR23.
For Everest III, select CDPR22.

From the CDPR22 or CDPR23 toolbar, select Utility. The Everest Utility opens.

Select the Alignment tab. The alignment settings display.
