• Soak tubing in warm soapy water for
5 minutes.
• Rinse tubing with clear water.
• Hang to air dry.
• Or shake out any drops of water from
the tubing and let the pump run with
tubing attached until dry.
6B. Cleaning and disinfecting the
breastpump and pumping area

Wipe off breastpump and pumping area
(ex: countertop or table) with a clean,
damp (not wet) cloth. Water and mild
dish soap or non-abrasive detergent
may be used.
Note
Make sure to clean and disinfect all
external parts of the breastpump, including
the power button, let down button, vacuum
control knob, and membrane area
