The exhaust air opening must be open when a cooling blower or cooling fan is in operation.
Early cooling is not recommended as this can have a negative impact on the ceramics,
glazes and the durability of the kiln lining and the service life of the heating elements.
Retrofitting a cooling system with a blower or fan in a kiln without a cooling system is
generally not recommended.
Kilns with a cooling system are specially prepared and manufactured by the manufacturer for
use with a cooling system.
