The pneumatic interfaces type CPX-GP-... are intended for
use only in CPX terminals. A CPX pneumatic interface in a
CPX terminal connects the modular electrical periphery
type 50 (CPX) with the pneumatics type 03 (Midi/Maxi) or
type 12 (CPA).
The maximum values specified in the section "Technical
specifications" must be observed during operation. De-
tailed information can be found in the manual for the I/O
modules and pneumatic interfaces P.BE-CPX-EA-.. as well
as in the CPX system manual P.BE-CPX-SYS-.. .
Warning
S Before carrying out installation and maintenance
work, switch off the following:
– the compressed air supply,
– the operating and load voltage supplies.
S Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cross-sec-
tional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
S The pneumatic interfaces contain electrostatically
sensitive components. Do not therefore touch any
contacts. Observe the regulations for handling elec-
trostatically sensitive components.
Please note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
