Maintenance Safety Rules
Basic Maintenance
 Disconnect battery before working on the electrical system.
Disconnect computer harness before welding anywhere on this
equipment.
 When charging battery, first connect battery to battery charger,
then apply A/C power to charger. This prevents dangerous
sparking from occurring near battery.
 Remove radiator cap slowly to avoid scalding. Add coolant to radiator when
engine is stopped or slowly idling.
 Under no circumstances is it allowed that modifications be made to, holes drilled
in, or welding performed on any structural members of this equipment. To do so
may void warranty.
 Securely replace all safety guards, shields and caps when maintenance work is
complete
