Operating Safety Rules
General
Do not operate this equipment while under the influence of
alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicating substances! To do so is
against the law!
Never operate engine within a closed building. Engine exhaust contains
significant amounts of deadly carbon monoxide and could cause illness or death.
Injured persons must seek medical help at once. All injuries must be properly
reported.
Surroundings
Owner must be certain that all operators and maintenance personnel are
thoroughly familiar with information contained in this manual and that refresher
courses are completed annually.
Do not allow riders in or on this equipment at any time! Operator only!
Children, animals, and non-essential personnel must be cleared from the area
where equipment is being used, maintained, or fueled.
Proper Gear
Wear proper protective clothing and safety gear when handling
batteries, fuels, and other hazardous substances.
Do not wear loose-fitting clothing or long hair around this
equipment.
Uneven Ground
Proceed slowly and with caution when traveling on inclines, side hills,
or uneven surfaces.
Unload only on a level surface. Raising cargo dump box with
equipment on side-hill or incline could result in overturn!
Unload only when certain that raised cargo dump box will be clear of
all overhanging branches, roof eaves, and other obstructions.
Driving
This equipment is intended for off-highway use only!
Turn safety flashers and headlights on when crossing public roads or in limited
visibility conditions. Beware of low-hanging limbs and overhangs while traveling.
Excessive speed causes accidents! Do not travel too fast for existing conditions.
Never leave vehicle cab without turning engine off, shifting to Neutral (N), and
firmly setting handbrake. Do not leave running vehicle unattended.
