1.0 Introduction

Microsystems. The Leica DM EP Polarizing
Microscope System is a highly adaptable
instrument that provides superior optics and
precision engineering for academic and industrial
polarized microscopy applications.

2.0 Unpacking
Carefully remove the microscope components from the
packing carton. Check the components against the
following standard equipment list:
• Stand
• Seidentopf Viewing Body
• Objectives
• Eyepieces
• Analyzer
• Compensators (Optional)
• Stage Clips (2)
Please do not discard any of the packing materials.
They should be used for safely storing and transporting
the instrument should the need arise.
