3. Lawn mower with blade
brake clutch, BBC
Models MB 650 VS, MB 655 RS,
MB 655 VS, MB 655 YS, MB 655 RS are
equipped with a blade brake clutch
(BBC).
As with all modern lawn mowers, the blade
comes to a stop within a short time as soon
as the handlebar is released. However,
thanks to the BBC system, the engine
continues to run. This function allows the
user to use the mower's self-propulsion
after the blade has stopped. Moreover, the
grass catcher box can be emptied, for
example, without having to start the engine
again.
Risk of injury!
Never reach into the
working area of the
blade when the engine
is running.
Stop the engine, allow
the blade to come to a
complete standstill and
detach the spark plug
socket before touching
the blade.
