ized dealer.
In emergency situations, damage can be minimized by taking
the following steps:

- Follow the directions for draining the spa.
- Remove the water from the recessed seating areas and bottom.
- Position the massage switch in position A (combo).

- Open the valve of the cascade with the correct knob.
- Remove the side cover panels and locate the pump drain plugs.
Remove them to allow water to drain from the pumps and the
heater.
Use a vacuum or other means to keep the water from flooding the
system compartment.
- Re-install the plugs of the pumps and the cabinet panels and
cover the spa with the insulating cover.
Restarting your spa in cold weather
If you want to start up your spa after it has sat empty for a time
in freezing temperatures, check whether the water remaining
in certain sections of the piping is still frozen: this situation
may block water flow preventing the spa from operating prop-
erly and possibly damaging the equipment.
We recommend you consult your dealer for guidance before at-
tempting to restart your spa under these conditions.
CLEARRAY™ Water Purification System
CLEARRAY Water Purification System is exclusive technology
utilizing natural ultraviolet technology to eliminate water-
borne bacteria, viruses, and algae in portable spas. The ul-
traviolet light otherwise know as UV-C or germicidal light in-
activates the microorganisms disrupting the DNA so that it
cannot reproduce and is considered lifeless. CLEARRAY is
plumbed in-line with your filtration system. After the water is
drawn from the pump, filter, and heater it is then directed
though the CLEARRAY system. Water passes through an ul-
traviolet light energy that treats and disinfects the water. The
water is then pumped back into the spa giving you crystal
clear water instantly. The system has a ballast that is the pow-
er supply for the purification system; it has two LED indicator
lights the green indicating incoming power flow and the red
indicating the system is properly working. CLEARRAY is stan-
dard for all models.
Note: The CLEARRAY System only runs when the jets pump 1
is running.
After a year the lamp bulb must be replaced. If the UV timer
has been programmed correctly a message will appear on
the LED display when the time allotted has expired. In order
to clear the "blb" message a new UV lamp bulb needs to be in-
stalled and the timer must be reset.
Conditions and error messagess
"Summer" mode (models with circulation pump)
I If the water temperature exceeds the set temperature by 1
°C, the spas enter "summer" mode. The circulation pump is au-
tomatically deactivated.
I Summer mode is not activated until water temperature
reaches 35 °C.
To help prevent a "Summer Mode" condition, it may be necessary
to reduce the filtering/heating cycle in warm weather.
Overheating
Overheat protection. Heater is deactivated.
Do not get into the spa, the water may be too hot.
- To correct the situation:
I Remove the spa's cover and allow your spa to cool down.
I Program the filter settings for "Economy" mode.
I When the water temperature drops below 44°C, the spa
will resume normal operation.
I If the temperature does not drop below 44°C, contact a
Jacuzzi Service Centre
Keep in mind that the spa's ability to cool is directly affected by the
ambient temperature: an excessively hot ambient temperature
may prevent the spa from cooling down because its fully insulated
construction is designed to retain heat and to minimize operating
costs.
Panel Displays BLB
UV lamp needs to be replaced. The message will flash between
"blb" and the water temperature. The countdown timer for the UV
lamp needs to be reset.
