The Infinity ® MultiMed ®
MS20093) and MultiMed Plus OR (part number
MS20094) are accessories approved for use with
the following Infinity patient monitors: Infinity
Gamma, Gamma XL, Gamma XXL, Vista, Vista XL,
Kappa, Kappa XLT, Delta, Delta XL, the Omega
Solution and Siemens SC6002XL, SC6802XL,
SC7000, SC8000 and SC9000XL. The MultiMed
Plus and Plus OR cables are compatible with
Dräger-approved accessories that include the
following: 3, 5, or 6 ECG lead sets, Masimo or
Nellcor SpO intermediate cables and temperature

probes. Dual temperature is available with the
following products only: Infinity Delta, Delta XL,
Omega, Kappa, Kappa XLT, Gamma XXL and Vista
XL. Refer to your monitor's instructions for use to
perform all measurements including setup and
display.
NOTE

The Infinity Delta, Delta XL, Omega, Kappa, Kappa
XLT, Gamma XXL and Vista XL monitors provide an
ESU mode that protects the ECG measurement
against high-frequency interference from
electrosurgical units.
To enable the ESU mode:
1 Select HR parameter box on the main screen
2 Select ECG options
3 Select Filter
4 Select ESU
5 Plug in the appropriate ECG lead set
NOTE
Pacemaker detection is automatically disabled
when the monitor is set to ESU.

Infinity MultiMed Plus cables – Monitoring accessories
Plus (part number The MultiMed Plus OR cable has an integrated
electro-surgical unit (ESU) filter which helps to
reduce HF surgery artifacts for improved reliability.
The ESU filter helps to protect the patient from
burns caused by ESU-induced currents flowing
through unprotected leads.
WARNING
While the MultiMed Plus OR is in use,
impedance respiration monitoring is
inoperative and the detection of pacemaker
spikes is degraded. If pacemaker detection is
enabled, the ESU interference may be
detected as pacemaker spike. Dräger only
recommends use of the MultiMed Plus OR
during electrosurgery.
WARNING
Not for use with Dräger blue ECG lead wires.
Use of the MultiMed Plus OR with Dräger blue
ECG lead wires will degrade performance and
can result in inaccurate values.
Mandatory reporting of adverse events
The MultiMed Plus and Plus OR cables are labeled
with the Medical Device symbol
serious adverse events with these products must
be reported to Dräger and the responsible
authorities.
