If fasteners are driven into workpieces that are too hard, or into other
fasteners, strong recoil is produced. The pneumatic tool can slip off
the workpiece in this situation.
Depth-of drive depends on the hardness and thickness of the piece
of wood and on the set operating pressure.
Ensure that no one is behind the piece of wood.
Check the pneumatic tool function at low operating pressure with
a single shot (see chapter "Driving the fasteners" starting on page
32).
Adjust the depth-of-drive and the driving force in accordance with
the resistance of the wood you are using (see chapter "Operating
the pneumatic tool " starting on page 28).
WARNING
Injury hazard due to fasteners that glance off
of the material, fasteners that are driven-in too
deep, or due to recoil.
Only use the pneumatic tool for wooden
objects.
Ensure that depth-of-drive is not greater
than the thickness of the piece of wood.
Press the nose of the tool firmly against
the workpiece.
