2. USING THE PUSHCHAIR
2. 1. SAFETY BRAKE
• To apply the safety brake, press the red mechanism over the right back wheel
down with your toe (fig. 20) until it clicks into place. Make sure the chair is properly
immobilised.
• To release the safety brake, press the green mechanism over the left back wheel
down with your toe (fig. 21) until it clicks into place.
• Always use the brake when you are not holding the pushchair by the handlebar.
2. 2. ADJUSTING THE ANGLE OF THE SEAT BACK
• To angle the seat back up or down, use one hand to slide the locking device on the
tapes on the front of the seat back, while holding and tensing the straps (fig. 22) until
you have it in the desired position (fig. 23). Pull the top of the seat back into the desired
position (fig. 24)
• For newly-born or very young babies, it is advisable to recline the seat back as much
as possible (fig. 25)
3. SETTING THE ANGLE OF THE FOOTREST
• The footrest can be set at three angles simply by pulling it upwards (fig. 26) until it clicks
into place (fig. 27)
• To lower the footrest pull it upwards past its horizontal position (fig. 28) to release the
fixing mechanism and then lower it to the desired position.
• For newly-born or very young babies, it is advisable to keep the footrest in a horizontal
position (fig. 27)
4. FITTING THE HARNESS
•
Insert the fixings on one of the two parts of the belt into the slot in the end part
of the chest belt on the same side (fig. 29)
• Insert the assembly made up of the belt and the chest strap into the correct side of
the buckle on the strap between the legs (fig. 30) until you hear it click into place.
• Repeat the above two steps with the other side of the belt and the other chest strap.
