specifications indicate both the
frequency of 50Hz and 60Hz,
can operate
frequencies without requests
from the user.
• This symbol means that the operation must
be performed by professionally qualified

N.B.
• When the appliance is installed at a height
lower than 2.3 m it is obligatory that (fig. 3):
• the frame with safety screen, when the short
duct is connected to the outlet port (to
prevent access).
• the protective grille is fitted when the inlet
port is not ducted (free intake).
• All versions of 100-125-150-160-200-200Q-250Q
appliances are fitted with a safety
overtemperature device.
• Versions of 250-315 appliances are equipped
with a manual-reset safety device to shut down
operation in the event of fault. If the device
cuts in, disconnect the appliance, allow it to
cool, eliminate the cause of the fault (e.g. grille
obstruction, fan fault, duct obstructions), then
reconnect the appliance. If the safety device
trips again, have the appliance checked by
VORTICE*.

reset thermal breaker device
In order to avoid any danger of
accidental reset of the thermal
breaker device, units must not be
powered by an external switch
device such as a timer, or must
not be connected to a circuit that
is regularly powered or
disconnected from power
at both utilities.
