This Service Manual is intended to be used by qualified personnel with training in installation, operation and
maintenance of the Wire Feeder Origo™ Feed Spool Gun.
People with no proper training or qualification must not be allowed to perform any completion of service or
repair, installation, operation in this equipment.
It's essential to read and understand all the information presented in this Manual carefully.

2) DESCRIPTION
2.1) General characteristic
The wire feeder Origo™ Feed Spool Gun is designed for semi-automatic through MIG/MAG process.
The Spool Gun is comprised of a feeding and control unit and a special torch which incorporates the wire
feeding mechanism and the wire bobbin. It's especially recommended for welding with wires of small
diameters and aluminum wires once the wire bobbin is mounted in the torch itself to prevent possible
blockings in the conduits as it normally happens in conventional torches.
The speed control is adjusted in the torch and the electronic circuit of the control unit keeps the wire speed
constant. The solenoid valve of the control unit commands the output of shielding gas.
The 6-meter-length torch command cable allows welding in a large area without having to move the power
source around. The assembly of the wire bobbin in the torch also allows the positioning of the torch in
different angles with great agility.
