8.2. Cleaning

DANGER! Remove the mains plug from the socket before
cleaning as there is a risk of an electric shock!
DANGER! Wait until the toaster has cooled down
completely. Otherwise, there is a risk of burns!
DANGER! The toaster must not be immersed in water as
there is a risk of an electric shock!
Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the housing and never use any solvent or cleaner that would
corrode the plastic materials. Use a soft brush to remove crumbs in the openings next to the toast
slots (1).
Remove the crumb tray (8) and empty it. If necessary, clean the crumb tray (8) with a slightly damp
cloth. Then replace the crumb tray (8) until it audibly snaps into place.

9. Storage when not in use

If you do not want to use the toaster, remove the mains plug from the socket. Wrap the mains cable
(9) in the direction of the arrow on the cable rewind (7) on the bottom of the toaster. Ensure that
the toaster is kept in a clean, dry location without direct sunlight.
