Select « CHARGE » mode
Select type of battery (LIQUID or AGM/GEL):
Liquid: Vented battery (Lead, lead calcium,...)
2
AGM/GEL: Sealed battery (Gel, maintenance free batteries, AGM,...)
If you are not sure, select AGM/GEL
Connect the clamps: red clamp on the "+" terminal , and black clamp on
3
the "-" terminal
4
Press « Start/Stop »
Before beginning the charge the Gysflash 75-12 HF will analyse the battery voltage/condition and
5
will indicate its status. The charger detects a battery with a voltage above 1.3 V
Should an anomaly be detected, the Gysflash 75-12 will inform you
6
(see troubleshooting section, page 17)
During the charge, the Gysflash 75-12 HF indicates the charge status of the battery (bar graph) as
7
well as the current (Ah) and charge voltage (Volts )
At the end of the charge :
If the « Floating » option is not activated (see page 14), the Gysflash 75-12 HF indicates
« Battery charged » as well as the capacity in Ah that has been recovered.
8
If the « Floating » option is activated (see page 14, the Gysflash 75-12 HF will display
« Battery charged »
NB : When the charge ends, if the battery remains connected, the Gysflash 75-12 HF starts again,
providing, if necessary, a charge cycle to compensate the automatic discharge of the battery.
9
Press « Start/Stop »
10
Switch « OFF »

Unplug the power supply cable first, then the battery clamps
POWER SUPPLY MODE/DIAGNOSTIC OR BATTERY SUPPORT MODE
On a stationary vehicle, the GYSFLASH 75-12 HF supplies up to 75A to ensure compensation of the
current used by high-energy consumers (engine fan, window regulator, electronic suspension etc...)
during diagnostic testing and programming
- 13.5V - Default setting
- 12 - 15V - Diag+ function (see Page 15 for instructions for this feature)
DIAG FUNCTION
The Diag function allows the user to specify the voltage delivered to the battery where a value other
than 13.5V is required (according to the manufacturers' specifications.) To use this function, follow
the instructions on page 15 to set up the required voltage.
NB1: before using the diag mode: If the screen displays a current higher than 10A, it
indicates the battery is discharged. In this case your Gysflash 75-12HF will start charging
it automatically. Check all electrical consumers are switched off on your vehicle. Wait
until the current falls below 10A and then re-launch the diagnostic.
Connection on the battery (recommended)
Polarity reversal detection is activated.
