2 Disinfect the prismatic tube of the CEREC Bluecam with the HLD set.
Disinfect the prismatic tube.
NOTICE
Disinfectants: Cidex OPA, Pro-Cide-D-Plus
Observe the manufacturer's safety information!
1. Pour max. 40 ml of disinfectant into the container supplied.
2. Remove the prismatic tube from the CEREC Bluecam (see "Caring
for the CEREC Bluecam and prismatic tube [ → 3]").
3. Remove the CEREC camera support (if present).
NOTICE
Damage to the prismatic tube
Do not allow liquids to penetrate into the prismatic tube!
➢ Ensure that no liquids get inside the prismatic tube.
4. Insert the prismatic tube in the correct position (glass down).
If the tube is inserted the wrong way round by mistake, dry it before
reinserting it correctly.
5. Place the lid on the container and leave it for as long as is specified
in the manufacturer's documentation.
NOTICE
Damage to the prismatic tube
Do not allow splashes to penetrate into the prismatic tube!
➢ Ensure that no splashes from disinfectants or spray water get inside
the prismatic tube.
6. Rinse the outside of the prismatic tube (see instructions for
disinfectant too).
7. Dry it with a lint-free cloth (see also manufacturer's documentation).
8. Refit the prismatic tube (see "Caring for the CEREC Bluecam and
prismatic tube [ → 5]").
