INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FR SERIES FANS
IMPORTANT:
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE INSTALLING FAN AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Items Included: One FR fan, one mounting bracket, mounting hardware for fan and bracket
Regular Kits Also Include: Grill with mounting collar/backdraft damper combination, duct mounting clamps
Deluxe Kits Also Include: 2 Grills with mounting collar/backdraft damper combination, "wye" transition, duct mounting clamps
Additional Items Needed: Duct work, duct tape or mounting clamps, duct termination device (roof cap, louvered shutter, etc.)
Tools Required: Electric drill, drill bits, regular screwdriver, phillips screwdriver, razor knife, keyhole saw (optional)

Les pi ces comprennent: un ventilateur FR, un support pour le montage, la quincaillerie nécessaire pour installer le ventilateur et le support.
Les ensembles réguliers comprennent également: Une grille, un collet de montage/registre anti-refoulement, et des attaches pour
l'installation de conduits.
Les ensembles deluxe comprennent également: Deux grilles, les collets de montage/registre anti-refoulement, un adapteur en "Y", ainsi que
les attaches pour l'installation de conduits.
Articles additionnels requis: Conduits, ruban pour conduits ou attaches, accessoires pour boucher le conduit (bouchon d'extrémité,
volet auvents, etc.)
Outils requis: Perceuse électrique, m ches pour perceuse, tourne-vis régulier, tourne-vis PHILLIPS, couteau utilitaire, scie à découper (facultative).

VENTILADORES DE LA SERIE FR
IMPORTANTE:

EN EL FUTURO.
Piezas incluidas: Un ventilador FR, un soporte de montaje, elementos para el montaje del ventilador y el soporte.
Los equipos normales también incluyen: Rejilla con combinación de collarìn de montaje/registro de contratiro, abrazaderas para montaje en
conductos.
Los equipos de lujo también incluyen: Dos rejillas con combinación de collarìn de montaje/registro de contratiro, unión en «Y», abrazaderas
para montaje en conductos.
Elementos adicionales necesarios: Conductos, cinta para conductos o abrazaderas de montaje, dispositivo terminal para el conducto (cúpula
de techo, lumbrera de persiana, etcétera).
Herramientas requeridas: Taladro eléctrico, mechas para taladro, destornillador plano, destornillador de estrías, navaja, sierra caladora (optativo).

  • Página 2 INSTALLING MOUNTING BRACKET AND FAN Step 1. When selecting fan mounting location, the following criteria should be considered: a) type of application; b) service accessibility; and c) mounting to minimize noise generated by fan operation. a) For dryer boosting applications, fan must be mounted a minimum of 12 feet from the dryer outlet. If the fan is mounted closer than the recommended 12 feet, it will develop enough pressure to pull lint through the dryer filter causing premature fan failure.
  • Página 3 INSTALLING HG SUPPLY/EXHAUST GRILL Please note: When items are purchased as an exhaust kit, the grill mounting collar may include a collar/ backdraft damper combination. If so, ignore steps 5 & 6: installation for the combination is the same as installation for the collar alone.
  • Página 4 INSTALLING BACKDRAFT DAMPER Step 5. Select a mounting location. When using a single exhaust point, the damper should be installed directly to the exhaust vent (see illustration 1). When using multiple exhaust points, the damper can be located at the "wye", "tee" or collector box (see illustration 2).
