partnership between Breguet and
aviation that began with the conquest
of the skies. Louis Breguet, descen-
dant of our founder, was one of the
great pioneers of aircraft design, and
the Breguet watch-making firm
supplied aeronautical instruments
to pilots as early as 1918. Over the
years our firm became established as

and Bellonte touched down at
Curtiss Field, Long Island, having
achieved the first non-stop Paris -
New York flight. Their time was
thirty-seven hours and fourteen
minutes... on board the Breguet 19
"Point d'interrogation". This victo-
ry confirmed Louis Breguet's
research into a aircraft's field of
action, and was a decisive stimu-
lus to the development of interna-
