These instructions for use are valid for LARYVOX

correct handling. Please read the instructions for use carefully before using the product
for the first time!
II. INTENDED USE
LARYVOX Tape CONVEX is an attachment system for daily use of HME filter cassettes or

tracheostoma valves with a 22 mm adapter.
III. WARNINGS
LARYVOX Tape CONVEX is a single-patient product and is intended for single use
®
only.
IV. COMPLICATIONS
The circular connector opening can under certain circumstances reduce the usable diameter
of the tracheostoma, resulting in a reduction of air supply. The particular properties of the
adhesive used for the medical tape can in individual cases cause skin irritations.
V. PRECAUTIONS
Observe the respective manufacturer's instructions when using tracheostoma valves.
VI. CONTRAINDICATIONS
Use of the tape should be avoided while undergoing radiotherapy due to the risk of
skin irritations. After undergoing radiotherapy, only use LARYVOX
after consulting your treating physician. Start using the tape at the earliest 2 weeks
after completing radiotherapy.
VII. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
LARYVOX Tape CONVEX is an attachment system for daily use of HME filter cassettes
®
or tracheostoma valves. The self-adhesive tapes are selected according to the anatomical
situation of the tracheostoma and the type of skin in order to achieve a long wearing period
and optimal attachment. The filter cassette is fitted in place in the 22 mm combined adapter
and can be changed separately from the base plate. We offer the tapes in various shapes
and sizes, made of different materials and with different adhesive strengths.
